Mr. President

Enough said...

Senator Obama had the guts and the eloquence to discuss a topic that lingers in every facet of society-from dinner tables to board rooms and from lecture halls to yes..even church services.

The issue of race overlaps many other issues and this had to be addressed..and Senator Obama was just the person to address it. You have to address this first before you can move on to Iraq, the economy, health care, education, etc.

Bravo Senator Obama..You have reminded me that once in awhile..once in a great great while people in government stand for things in order to help others and not for political gain. Hmm I seem to remember another issue he stood for in a certain way that seemed highly controversial....

I don't know about you-but this is the kind of President I want and the kind the country needs.

Very true. It was very Presidential. I think it was an important and moving speech. Also, it was a speech that he is nearly uniquely qualified to deliver.

Barack Obama is so eloquent and acts in the kind of way we WANT a President to act. His speech on race was impressive.(however, I still have a big problem with him "staying with Wright".) We have not had that for a long time. President John F. Kennedy portrayed these same assets. I just feel Obama MUST say out loud that Hillary Clinton can do and say whatever she wants to ........ he will put the record straight when she is wrong, but not use the same dirty tactics as does she. People need to know he is above all that. And one other thing is the tour of PA he was on. Wonderful! He seemed so down to earth and approachable. Albeit a terrible bowler!!!! Presidential yet human!
